BodyTalk is a holistic healing system that uses your body’s natural intelligence (called innate wisdom) to find and fix imbalances in your physical, emotional, or energetic health. Innate wisdom refers to the body’s inherent, subconscious intelligence that governs its optimal functioning, self-regulation, and healing processes. It’s the natural wisdom that enables physiological processes (like digestion or immune responses) and maintains emotional, mental, and energetic balance without conscious effort. In BodyTalk, this wisdom is seen as a guiding force that knows what the body needs to restore harmony. Think of it like a conversation with your body to find and fix imbalances that might be causing stress, discomfort, or other issues. BodyTalk combines elements of Western medicine, Chinese medicine, and energy work. Your BodyTalk Practitioner works with innate wisdom to help your body prioritize what needs healing using gentle techniques like tapping, all tailored to you.
In a session, the practitioner connects with your body’s innate wisdom using techniques like muscle testing or intuition to identify what needs balancing—could be stress, a physical issue, or even old emotions. The practitioner guides your body to heal itself using light tapping on your head,(Symbolizing head brain) chest (heart brain) and gut ( gut brain). Sessions are relaxing and non-invasive, and you just need to be present and open.
Yes! Online BodyTalk sessions work just as well as in-person ones. Your body’s energy isn’t limited by distance, so the practitioner can tune into your innate wisdom via video call or phone. The practitioner will use their focus or surrogate techniques to identify imbalances and guide your body to balance itself, often asking you to do simple things like breathe deeply or tap lightly. Sessions can also be done without the client being there at all and feedback can be given after the session.
BodyTalk can address a wide range of issues, like stress, anxiety, chronic pain, digestive problems, low energy, emotional blocks, or even just feeling “off.” It works holistically, so it can help with physical, mental, and emotional challenges by improving how your body’s systems communicate
Nope, it’s super low-key! Just find a quiet, comfortable spot where you can relax during the session (in-person or online). You might be asked to share what’s been going on with you as this gives the practitioner insight but your body’s innate wisdom will guide the process, so you don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong.
Sessions typically last 60 minutes, depending on what your body needs. The number of sessions varies—some people feel better after one, while others benefit from a few to address deeper issues. Your practitioner will work with your body’s priorities to create a plan that fits you.
Yes, BodyTalk is totally safe and non-invasive. It works with your body’s natural healing ability, using gentle techniques like tapping or focused intention. There are no drugs, needles, or forceful adjustments, making it suitable for all ages.

The cost of a session with me is R700 for an hour. The first session can sometimes run over 60 minutes but the cost remains the same
